It is a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations promoted by the
Secretary of State for Tourism, with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) with the ultimate goal of improving the experience and satisfaction of the tourist.
The SCTE Destinos-SICTED is a methodology that provides an integral and permanent system of quality management in a tourist destination with a new conception of the expected results, a focus towards continuous improvement and an attitude of recovery and valorization of the Resources and space.
The SCTE Destinos-SICTED pursues a level of homogeneous quality in the services offered to the tourist within the same destination.
Among other tools, it has 32 good practice manuals. It offers the tourist companies a training plan, technical assistance visits by approved consultants, collective workshops, working groups that develop proposals for improvement to the destination and evaluations that contrast the suitability of the company / service to the standards of quality.
All this culminates in obtaining the distinctive Commitment of Tourism Quality reproduced here.
This is granted to companies / tourist services that have accredited compliance with the requirements set.
It is a recognition of the effort and commitment to quality and continuous improvement, while distinguishing us from the competition.
